Junior ready for a new home!
On Valentines Day 2009 Elvis and Pricilla had this kitten, a boy. As a first time mother Pricilla was a little confused as her role so we took him at 5 days of age and bottle fed him. As you can imagine he is very imprinted to people. Go to the Kittens Page for more photos and information on how you can add him to your family.

Why We Raise Bengals.

 We are the founders of Pella Wildlife Company, a non profit wildlife conservation organization based in Pella, IA. Our focus is on wildlife education, propagation, and rehabilitation. Go to www.pellawildlifecompany.org for more information about the organization.

As we visit with people accross this country, many have a desire for something wild or wild looking. We often get asked do servals, bobcats, cougars, leopards, lions, etc. make good pets? We understand and appreciate the desire to connect to the wild, however, most do not have the resources, time, and understanding of behavior management and enrichment needed to work with wildlife ambassadors.

We decided that instead of saying NO you are not qualified that we would find an alternative sub species of feline that would give you the look of the wild with the safety of domestication.
We decided on the Bengal, a hybrid of the Asian Leopard Cat.
The Bengal Makes A Good Pet For You Because;

  • They eat comercial diets available at you veterinarian
  • They can live a comfortable and long life in a domestic environment
  • They are recognized and are registerd as a domestic breed of cat by The International Cat Association (TICA)
  • Any licensed veterinarian can treat them
  • They have all the spots and rosettes that the Leopards and Jaguars have.
  • They do not look at small children as prey species

We are not in the Bengal breeding business, we offer alternatives to wildlife so you can have that wild feline look as we help protect the wild for felines around the world.

Our Foundation Bengals
Elvis and Priscilla are the king and queen of our domestic jungle.

It was never our intention to be show cat people, however due to a contract agreement we were obligated to show Elvis. Turns out we have a good eye for cats as Elvis was the top Bengal Kitten in the Great Lakes Region and as a young adult became a Supreme Grand Champion as well as the 14th Best Overall Cat in the Great Lakes Region. Priscilla was no shabby cat either, as a kitten she beat Elvis in the show ring a few times as they were number one and two on many occasions.

What this means to you is that we have an eye for the wild look you desire and it has been confirmed by cat show judges that we have what they look for in a Bengal cat that meets or exceeds the breed standard.

Enjoy the web site - you will be able to view images of Elvis and Priscilla in the show ring as well as their available kittens.
